After the drubbing they've had who can blame them.

Some jumping before they are pushed.

Still, it's more honourable than defecting to a party that shares few values with the one you've left and then cynically being parachuted into a new 'safe' seat.

The clearout has started!

I can't see ours, Antoinette Sandbach, Conservative Independent, standing again.

This entirely ^^^ who was it? Heidi Allen, let me guess, from a Brexit majority constituency, jumps ship to the "lets have another referendum until we get the answer we want" party, and wonders why shes getting death threats going against the majority of her constituents.

I totally understand the anger that people feel towards these MPs as it's verging on fraudulent what some of them have done.
However it's just not on that there's been threats made towards them and their safety.

She is thick skinned enough to do so. I notice she didn't vote for the election bill LOL. Will be interesting what TBP does to the blue vote around here

Neither am I, but these MP’s don’t seem to have any comprehension of actions and consequences. I’m not condoning it but people don’t tend to go that far without reason.

Of course. The anger is real and it has been compounded by the effort some of these MPs have put in to go against the will of the majority after having said they'd respect our wishes when they last stood for election.

If they'd have acknowledged the fundamental point that leave means leave but then proceeded to put their full effort into challenging and checking government in order to mould a successful exit then they'd have had my full respect and it could be argued we'd have a better outcome at this point.

Is Dominic Grieve or Guto Bebo standing down ?

Given they barely vote with Boris and have done their utmost to wreck the plans let’s hope so.

And that ultimate wet Hammond

There should never be justification for death threats. EVER.

I cannot believe you're suggesting they are inevitable.

There are always idiots who go too far and this subject seems to attract them. All I’m saying if MP’s go against what their constituency voted it’s not surprising. I’m not trying to justify their bullying and aggression. Just that anybody else who have a job and clear instruction, then did the exact opposite would be fired, pronto, MP’s seem to exist in an alternative universe where opposing what they were voted in for is perfectly ok.

Given he resigned as Defence Secretary when No 10 allegedly compiled a list of all of his previous misdemeanours with the opposite sex, I don't understand why he was allowed to continue for the past couple of years as my MP. Just hope the rumours of Cameron taking his place don't materialise.

We have a tried and tested method of firing MPs. Blimey we're about to have the 3rd opportunity to fire MPs in the space of 4.5 years.
