There can be little doubt that Morales has advanced the cause of indigenous peoples and created a fairer society in Bolivia during his years of office. The Comite Ciudadano and Comite Civico are both right wing pressure groups orchestrating violent opposition. As ever the price will be neo-colonialist exploitation with big business exploiting natural resources and exporting wealth.
