UK Politicians as Muppets
Discussion
Hope this raises a smile on a grey Saturday.
I was watching BBC Breakfast this morning, waiting for the weather forecast. Naga Munchetty was on, so I had the sound muted to cut out the whiny inane drivel. Various politicians were shown, and it struck me how many of them were personifications of the cast of the Muppet Show - both in terms of their appearance and their gestures.
Jo Swinson was first. She reminded me of Janice:-

Boris:-

Nigel Farage:-

Emily Thornberry:-

The best I could come up with for Jeremy Corbyn, mainly because of his inability to state his position on Brexit, was Beaker:-

Parliament's brain is missing...
Was briefly noted on here last night. Corbyn and his cabbages (his shadow cabinet) and Thatcher with her vegetables (her cabinet).Parliament's brain is missing...
I think there Blair years were a bit fallow, nondescript middle of the road nobodies. Now we've got more extremes and more vocal MPs there's much more material to play with.
I watched the quick one about Major dropping an acid tab last night, even his acid trip was in black and white!

Those images look more like the names below the pictures. I was watching BBC Breakfast this morning, waiting for the weather forecast.
