The whole Epstein affair strikes me as odd. Are there no people surrounding the prince with the combination of common sense and a backbone? Otherwise how is it possible to explain PA’s behaviour?

Surely someone in the palace or secret services should have pointed out before Epstein was convicted that he was dodgy? And certainly after he was convicted, wasn’t anyone able to explain to PA that visiting a convicted paedophile was perhaps not in his or the Royal Family’s interests? I’ve heard that PA is stupid but he could have been instructed to break off relations with Epstein. Bizarre.

Be interesting to hear why he was removed from the UKTI "trade ambassador" role some years back. I'm sure the civil servants around him raised concerns about his conduct.

Think he’s such an arrogant money grabbing tosser that he wouldn’t listen to any advice he’s given, just like he was advised not to do the interview.

Heard on the radio that this scheme he’s involved in that’s apparently a bit like Dragons Den he gets a percentage for doing fk all.

I am a royalist but think PA is a deeply unpleasant person. The Queen isn’t impressed with him she’s cancelled his 60th birthday bash.

I think it was that he was a complete embarrassment - spouting crap and causing no end of trouble for our diplomats and civil servants.

Or he has people advising him but he is too arrogant and ignorant and does what he likes anyway?

He might be surrounded by 'yes' men, but he definitely reports to a 'no' woman biggrin

We should all be grateful that he ignored advice and did the interview.

Trumps the same.

Equally stupid, been surrounded by sycophants his entire life, believes his own hype and lies through his teeth.

And of course both were friends with Epstein.
