Given the court verdict is anyone brave enough to comment?

J K Rowling will probably be hounded for the rest of her publishing life by these Trans-terrorists.

The woman is allowed to have an opinion that's the beauty of freedom of speech. Although it's evident that the militant left don't really do freedom of speech unless of course it aligns with their side of the debate.

Trans people always did have the same human rights as everyone else but you can't change genetics and biology.

There are only two genders, male and female. You can call yourself whatever gender you want but genetically your still the same one you were born as.

Whether mentally you identify as male or female is entirely up to you but don't try and change millions of years of evidence and centuries or scientific studies by trying to tell me black is now white

Freedom of speech is a myth, as the Tribunal judgement shows.

You can only say what you like within certain deemed acceptable parameters.

Luckily I'm not employed by a bunch of 'woke' nutters so if anyone takes offence to my opinion well that's not my concern.

It's about time someone high profile such as J K Rowling spoke up against this nonsense. It's getting worse with people calling themselves 'They' and 'it' when they aren't even trans just trying to seek some attention.

Kids these days must be confused as hell with all this gender bending going on around them not to mention how confusing Biology classes in school must be.

Not strictly true, there is, I believe, a tapeworm which exhibits male and female features - a hermaphrodite and some fishes which can change sex. Just saying.
Last time I looked I wasn't a tapeworm or a fish whose genetic makeup is very different to a humans. In fact I'd be amazed if a tapeworm or fish had the mental capacity to decide to transition of its own accord.

The irony of your comment is that the word “gender” used to be synonymous with “sex” ie biologically male and female, but was changed (mainly by feminists) to mean something different, being a social and cultural construct. Apparently now “sex” is also a social construct but somehow different from gender. I have to admit to being a bit lost.

Human self awareness only complicates the matter and I do hear you, but what I’m trying to say is that there is a biological/histological evidence of species, including, albeit extremely rarely, humans carrying xx and xy chromosomes at the same time. Since conciseness/self awareness is heavily influenced by hormones there is a plausible argument that transitioning has a biological basis. However, statistically, such cases (a true hermaphrodites) a very rare and this doesn’t explain current surge in transitioning cases. The Pill, on other hand, which is a form of hormone therapy basically developed to disrupt the menstrual cycle (which has been in use for the past, what, 30-40 years) by way of delivering a hormonal shock to the female endocrine system including eggs, perhaps has a lot to answer for.

Remind me again what harm transgender people have done? Live and let live.

JKR's position doesn't include much detail. This person has gone beyond expressing an opinion, and instead has posted several provocative items (including a cartoon).

Transgenderism should be treated as a mental illness. This nonsense will be the end of us.
Given all the abnormalities that can develop in a human being from the moment of conception to death, why do you think that it is impossible for the brain (as in perception of gender) to not match the body?

Isn't the issue not that it cannot occur, but can it occur in the numbers that those affected and involved would have us believe?

It is interesting the way that Trangender and the associated rights group have decided both sides of the debate.

Not only are the telling us CIS Men what is offensive to them, they are also telling women that calling them Terf’s isn’t meant as an offensive term.

Personally I loathe being referred to a CIS Man, what is wrong with ‘man’

Thus you accept that 2 distinctly different and scientifically definable genders exist. Can't have it both ways.
