I watched the "mockumentary" on TV as a kid & instantly loved the soundtrack, which my dad promptly bought for me. Will have to have a listen tomorrow.

Innes was involved in the UK comedy & music scenes as well as film & TV, although never really recognised for much of it.

RIP Ron Nasty.

Remember watching as a kid - it all went way over my head of course but still enjoyed it.

Just read about this in Eric Idle's autobiography, including one brilliant story of when George Harrison joined The Rutles at a publicity event and was completely ignored by the press. smile

I've got the "All You Need is Cash" dvd somewhere and an ancient Bonzo cassette too, he also collaborated with Eric Idle on Rutland Weekend Television. RIP Neil.
