If her identity is made public, she'll regret it very quickly. Few things unite people more than cruelty to dogs.

What a wretched human. Hope Bella makes a full recovery and finds a good home.

It is really tough to understand the mentality that makes someone able to do this.

Nothing tends to shock me anymore in terms of animal cruelty acts.

Completely abhorrent behaviour. Sadly the punishment won't meet the crime, in this instance the crime should carry a sentence of her eyes being clipped open and an entire kettle of boiling water poured into them.

Which would be "Completely abhorrent behaviour".

Unless you know more than is in this thread you have no idea "what she deserves". Nor, in an otherwise civilised society, is that any way to treat a human being.

Behaviour which was normal not that long ago, people throwing sacks of puppies and kittens into rivers was no big deal,
I recall my dad doing it.
Some people do bad things, it doesn't mean they are Vlad The Impaler, get a grip crazy dog owners.

Indeed - her name will be found out and natural justice will most likely be served.

Might be something wrong with her? She’s probably safe from the mob as the pitchfork lot usually get the wrong people anyway.

It's just completely pointless, because any vet would take it and have a shelter collect it, at no charge to her.

Your dad threw a sack of kittens / puppies into a river? And you think it was no big deal?

Genuinely shocked at that. Very strong link between cruelty to animals and sociopathy.

Nothing to do with sociopathy in this instance i suspect. Times change. As a kid, I had a rabbit that proved to be vicious and nasty. We didn't try calming tablets and owner/pet therapy- neck broken and into the pot. Replaced with better behaved version.

Why not leave them where they can be found?
