As much as I dislike her policies, doesn’t seem any worse than expenses fiddling that most of them get away with.

Notice the usual plea ‘didn’t know I was doing wrong’, very lame and insults the electorate

Compared with the millions given to other parties by corporate donors, this is pretty small beer to be fair.

Not that I care for the Green Party one bit biggrin

It does sound more like an ignorant mistake than any deliberate fiddling, but that in itself is a reflection on her levels of diligence and her judgement. It's her job to know the rules.

What 'real' punishment would you prefer she received?

Are you suggesting you want to see her walking through the lanes with her lady parts on display?

Whatever the maximum available penalty is.....
However, in the interests of balance, any other MP flouting the rules, even unwittingly, should receive maximum penalties.
Of course, that will probably never happen....

Quite, poor effort.

BJ got a £15,000 holiday villa paid for by one of his donors, but apparently that was all above board. rolleyes

And declared it. thereby complying with the rules.

It's quite likely you'll have 9 more years to take pops at Boris, enjoy.

If you read the original campaign nowhere does it says she is offering a tour of the house in return for a donation, and it wasnt a raffle or auction. Equally MPs are entitled to give out free tours of the house when they like. So by the sounds of things she took someone who donated money on a tour, which is not against the rules.

Nowhere in the article did it say she did anything wrong, but just that someone had complained about it. Until a decision is made by the Parliamentary body then its all a fuss over nothing.

Assuming that the info info is correct.... I reckon there's more to this.
