It seems that BoJo is facing a bit of an insurrection from within over the matter.

Frankly I have sympathy for the argument, all Chinese companies are in effect hand in hand with the Chinese Government.

Same argument stands with Google doing AI work with chinese companies but refusing the same with the US military. Seems like a great way to undermine the freedoms we're supposed to hold dear.

Being argumentative, Hauwei allow the UK significantly more access to their software than Cisco do...
