Coronavirus - recoveries and good news
Discussion
Another Coronavirus thread but hopefully one with a difference. We see many negative stories and the press generally focus on the extreme stories so we don’t see the positives so easily.
Can we gather together some of the stories of people who have had it and recovered or are happily chilling out with Netflix and chicken soup. What were their symptoms? What did they take?
PLEASE PLEASE try not to argue or rubbish posts - there are a million threads for that. Many of us will get this in the coming months and at the moment the available stories are generally grim... let’s hear about Doris in accounts who had it and recovered just fine.

Great idea for a thread.

A mate of mine picked it up skiing. Was down for about three days with headache, tight chest and fever but felt well enough to get back to working on his farm after four days. That then knocked him for six again so I think if (when) I get it I’ll keep it easy for a few weeks even if I feel ok.
Anyway, he said it was no worse than a normal flu, which also how another friend’s cousin described it. Again that was caught skiing - what the f
k have they been doing in northern Italy?

Pointless thread, there's only been 52 recorded recoveries in the UK and we don't know how many unrecorded because we have no idea if those people who think they had it actually did have it.
Plus our PH experts say 40..no wait 60% are going to require an incubator or else they’ll die.Oakey said:

Indeed. Besides people getting ill and then recovering hardly counts as good news.Good idea for something positive. Ignore the complainers trying to be negative above.

Jesus you lot (mostly) can’t help yourselves can you? Can you not see that someone on PH with it (one of our online ‘mates’) will probably look on here and fairy quickly run into the hugely negative posts. This is an attempt to balance that.
Sadly, it appears that many of our fellow PHers thrive on negativity.JonnyJustice said:
Brilliant idea for a thread. Haven’t seen anything related to CV-19 anywhere else on the site.
another couple of forums that I am on have several CV threads running concurrently. Not a bad idea given that there are lots of different elements to the situation. The main thread on here is very informative but with so much going on some of the better stuff is easy to miss.Dromedary66 said:

really, there is like 10+ already, do we need another.
But Maxf want's to see his name as the OP to one of the popular threads, this will provide him with the sense of self worth that he sorely craves.PH really is full of
s isn’t it?To add some context - I, like many others, suffer from anxiety - I know how easy it is to not the see good news and only focus on the bad. This thread was meant to be about the good news so when you get a fever at 4am you’re not solely faced with people arguing whether 2% or 10% die of this. PH again never fails to bring out to trolls though - it’s like sport to most of you I appreciate, but give it a rest FFS
