I apologise, I'm so weak and crap as a human being. I can't handle this. A month will be a disaster to my mental state. I hope you lot are stronger but I wanted to ask you how you're coping?
I truly hope we all get out of this, and get back to "normal".

I'm tired, bored, stressed and a bit scared. I'll get through it because my wife will help me. I may kill my stepson, though.

We’ll get through it, it’s best to stop watching the news that’s scare mongering!

I’m fundamentally lazy so I’m not finding it too bad at the moment but it’s still early days.

Thankfully my parents (who I'm staying with) have got 4 acres of land so plenty to keep me busy helping out so I'm actually quite enjoying it. Had I been at home alone though I think I'd have gone insane by now. Working from home is bloody lovely too.

I've been looking through our holiday pics. Stuff we all took for granted should be all the more special!

Chin up all.

Walk or cycle everyday
Listen to music

Loads of odd jobs getting done
Spend time in the garden
Try new recipes

I'm thoroughly enjoying it: I'm very happy with my own company and have nice house and big garden to lurk around.

I also have no kids hehe

Saying that, my job will be a nightmare to go back to. We water companies' plants, they will all be dead!

Not getting through particularly well.

I live in a 580 sqft flat with a 2sqm north facing balcony.

As a result I’ve been out as much as possible...what makes this worse is I’m never normally home, either working or out enjoying myself. I’ve set up an outdoor desk (sorted in the garage) for when I can get by on just a 4G iPad (rarely) as working from the sofa (I have no desk) knackers my back/legs. Even went and got the dogs from my parents/brothers so I had a good excuse for a 4 hour walk - I’ll likely do similar in a few days time.

I’ve also taken to going food shopping daily, going the long way round (or to distant supermarkets) where possible. After work tomorrow the intention is a 3 hour cycle of about 50-60 miles. Anything I can do to stay within the letter (if not the spirit) of the restrictions but maintain the mental health of the Mrs and I.

It’s ok if you’ve got a nice house and a few quid in the bank but I’d hate to be in a high rise with a few kids.

All of that, ideally. Until the last line.

Sadly, with no idea what future income might look like, im going to run out of stuff to do, as i will need to buy stuff. Buying stuff with no idea about future income isnt smart.

Allright at the moment though as plenty still to do.

I've been entertaining myself with some of my cycles - today was a grueling shopping trip, but yesterday I went 3 miles along the A303... so quiet that it was rather pleasant!!

As long as I continue to get out I'll stay sane, especially with the novelty of quiet main roads.

yes I can't imagine what that is like.

We moved house from a fairly pokey terraced house about five years ago, we had the "thank God we aren't still there" conversation last week.

It’s just the boredom that I can’t stand, usually my evenings & weekends are spent watching sports but there’s literally nothing on. Admittedly there are loads of E-sports on now but I cannot get into that.

We are struggling with two small kids. It was survivable when the weather was OK with frequent walks, but if this week is grey or wet I’m not sure we will make the week. Wife and I bickering quite a lot and not eating that well. Need to turn it around soon!

Absolutely loving it. Get up late, leisurely brekkie, nice couple of hours walking in the country or down to the beach. Watching a film in the afternoon, a snooze, then dinner and the usual evening telly. I also dug my sci-fi book collection out of the loft after 20 years and have started re-reading them.
I love my work but am a lazy bugger at heart so this is perfect for me.

Same - but thinking about stabbing the neighbour upstairs to get a change of scenery down the nick......

You can handle it and you will. What does strong mean to you?
