The Telegraph: clickbait and paywall profit from coronavirus
Discussion
Does anyone else feel The Telegraph are way out of order? Is it just something I am seeing due to the settings on my phone? It seems like I am being bombarded with utter clickbait from these guys, but when I click I can't see anything without paying.
When you see the titles it looks like they are sharing valuable/essential news, but when you reach the paywall you realise they're not really sharing it at all...it's just a lure.
They are by far the worst offender in my experience, to the point where I've commented on it to other people who have noticed the same thing. The Daily Mail by comparison are equally liberal with their application of the truth in the quest for a good headline, but at least they're sharing the full article without demanding payment.
