Despite The Prime Minister, his party leader, being hospitalised due to Covid-19 and giving a very clear message to ‘Stay at Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives‘ our local MP feels it’s a good idea to challenge this for Easter!

If they do this, we might as well all go and have BBQs etc. Believing in a god etc won't protect them or they wouldn't have shut all religious venues.

I've been waiting to post that last bit for a month.

What better way to celebrate the rebirth of Jesus than by killing hundreds of his followers with a deadly virus,

As the Doors said... people are strange.

Maybe he could ask god to wipe out coronavirus before easter, that would certainly make me a believer, and it shouldn't be too challenging for an omnipotent deity.

On the telly a few weeks ago, a news item showed inside a church crammed full of people.
One lady at the entrance said (in Ruski) that because it was a church everyone was protected.
The presenter then stated that the lady was a GP. Gobsmacking or what?
Quite how anyone can still believe in some supreme being listening to them is probably best left for another thread, but FFS!

Their imaginary friend won't protect them from a virus. Proof of this is that he's never done so in the past.

1. He is a buffoon
2. You don't need to go to Church to pray

Look awful, a short wheelbase Sprinter would look better.

Oh, MP is a idiot. Many of the churches I have been in have space issues that come in many forms. People will greet each other. I am sure whatever deity you observe will wish to see you later rather than sooner.

Maybe ask him why he caused it in the first place, too?

Amazing to suggest a church service might be acceptable. Standing together, even 2m apart and singing hymns for an hour seems the perfect recipe for making sure everyone gets it if it’s around!

Correct on both points. It’s really not that hard is it.

Astoundingly thick. How do these people get to become an MP? Surely its time for a minimum IQ level to be set.

I think we all know that you don't have to be a member of Mensa, look at Abbot, Priti and Liz Truss for evidence.
