Fair play to the dad, and i reckon that lad is nt going to be allowed out on his own for a while.

Given that you can't edit thread titles, you should probably make some attempt to proofread them.

Ah yes, that's the take away.

Nice to see the thread title mimicking the father's spelling and grammar, personally I would've preferred "He will being thurally punish."

Fair play to the dad. There's a certain irony to chastising him for his language by calling him a "vile-mouthed little b*****d" though.

The video of the kid appologising was removed from FB for some reason, it was longer than what is shown on the news page and in it the kid is in tears

So he should be. If that was my son I would be livid. Maybe he won't be threatening women with violence in the future.

Yeah, my initial reaction to the father showing excellent (sarcasm mode: on) parenting skills of shaming his son via a Facebook video calling him that was "this is obviously not unfamiliar language to either of them".

Hence why in the first place the kid finds himself outside the supermarket on his mountain bike threatening to 'cut people up'.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

The worst penalty for him is the mick-taking for a very long time from anyone who knows him & anyone he encounters who's seen this. The loss of face must be savage for a little st in his position.

Are there many children of that age that don't hear swearing on a daily basis?

I think Reece-Mogg's kids once heard him say "bally".

Not bothered about the swearing, but "Fam", "Bruv" and "I will Cut you up", its bad enough (but at least sounds authentic) from some proper pretend gangstas from our Capital, but from some pretend pretend gangsta, middle class white boy hampshire schoolkids it is just embarrassing.

No more YouTube beef videos for those pair of little wet farts.

Bring back the Kersal Massive I say.

Not sure if it is "well done dad" but more a case of damage limitation realising it might be better to
get in first with an apology before the Police investigation.

probably a promising footballer and a nice kind boy really.

You ever been to Gosport? hehe

I got some abuse for saying on Facebook: "Gosport? Asda? If someone says "vaping" I'm standing up and shouting "council bingo!".

The cynic in me did consider that the Dad moved to control the narrative and limit the damage while he could.

The dad has very possibly saved that kid from getting seriously hurt later on.

Also, WRT mocking his grammar; it's important to listen to what people say, but far more important to watch what they do.

Fair play to him.
