A friend posted a link about this on Facebook interesting direction. Not quite sure what I think as a template for what other nations might do in the future.

I have often wondered if perpetual growth is ultimately possible. I have always put it down to large parts of the globe are developing.

Would you be happy if a British government took this line?

It’s a nice idea, but until the worlds population stops increasing, then perpetual grow to create the jobs people will require is the only way forwards. Because without the jobs, people won’t pay tax into the system, and then it all quickly falls apart.

The government that gave me a 20% pay cut on lock down and extra money to beneficiaries.

The budget was a flop on housing, they promised over 1000 new homes and delivered about 100 or so, most infrastructure was ripped off from the previous National governments election pledges. And the provincial growth minister gave most of his money to companies he or his party had interests in.
