What sort of commercial facility (outside of a zoo) houses a water buffalo, and why were these people in its vicinity?!

There was a herd in Derbyshire few years ago, next to the road from Chesterfield to Buxton.

I think it depends. There are different species of WB, some wild, some quite domesticated.

I’ve been amongst the latter, quite safely and I’ve also been close to the former but in the safety of a 4 x 4.

The big wild bulls are massively intimidating, highly dangerous and not to be messed with.

The domesticated ones not much different to cattle but people do get killed by cattle so I guess this incident was with them, being kept for milk.

I live not far from usk and never heard of water buffalo up there. Its kicking off in wales today various incidence including a stabbing in the rhondda valley a young female stabbed several people killing one person.
Think the lockdown is causing all sorts of mental acts in wales today.

Do water buffalo react badly to lockdowns then?

Clearly water buffalo are not as accommodating as sheep.

Whilst tragic for the family involved, this is the setup of a really hilarious hypothetical conversation...

"how's your mate, not spoken to him in years..."
"yeah, he died during the pandemic in 2020"
"oh, sorry to hear that... got the virus did he?"
"no he was attacked by a waterbuffalo".

Don't know about Buffalo but there's a farm near me that keeps Bison which are freaking huge and could easily be dangerous, they sell the meat both to take away and eat in the cafe.

Why would anyone be purchasing a jacuzzi at the moment?
