Ive not been watching them, same as Ive not been watching any of the news reports.
Propaganda on adverts all hectoring us to "stay safe" whatever that means and constant references to coronavirus.
It must be the single most overused word in history. Im bored with it all entirely and that takes some doing.

I'm not taking any notice of them - I can't be arsed sitting through all that froth. I get a summary of the key stuff online once a day so I find out what I need to know.

I’ve been anti lockdown since the start and haven’t been watching them for a while. The daily death toll is out of context and inaccurate. Serves more to scare people and does more harm than good

Stop watching them, then. I think I last saw it live about 5 weeks ago. Nowadays, I just look on BBC's website for the summary.

I'm absolutely sick of the bulls**t corona virus updates. Disregarding the sheer incompetence, mixed messages and inconsistencies, the way they try to bulls**t us with various pillars, stages, phases, alert levels and slogans. The pillars disappeared when they gave up on testing because it was too hard. Alert levels mean nothing. We know exactly where we are by looking at the daily death count (which I suspect will be back up to 800 -900 in a few weeks time). Today they's trotted out Robert Jenrick, who actually has the balls to stand there and talk about sacrifice and staying at home as much as possible. This from the man who sent his family to stay at their mansion in the country and then travelled to see them, and subsequently travelled to see his parents. He's a f****ing disgrace and has zero credibility. We are being deliberately led towards herd immunity by a bunch of privileged callous buffoons. I can't stand the sight of them.
You do know that you don't have to watch it don't you?

I'm sure there will be something less confusing for you to watch on CBBC.

Just stop watching them, I stopped watching the TV news about 2 weeks ago, it's just the same stuff repeated.

I knew some fkwit would reply with a stupid, moronic comment. Firstly, I want to know the facts and figures, so try to watch once a day. Secondly, did I say it was confusing? I didn't, I said I was sick of the patronising nonsense they spout. Try to concentrate fully, you may be able to read a paragraph and understand what is being said, you half wit

They’re trying to make it more interesting by abandoning any graphs that make them look bad.

Its obvious that information and the media are being 'managed' to convince healthy fit young adults into thinking their risk is much higher than it actually is to increase compliance with the stay indoors message.

It has been very effective, maybe too effective.

People are terrified to let their young children to return to school despite the trip to and from being almost infinitely more dangerous than any risk from CV19 for the child.

Risk is a strange concept that people really struggle with.

I did appreciate the answer Jenny Harries gave to that.

A nice shorthand for "You'd have to ask the politicians".
