The article reads like eBay were operating a mercenary outfit in Afghanistan!...

'Popp was eBay’s senior manager of global intelligence, Stockwell was the company’s manager of global intelligence center (GIC), Zea was a contractor who worked as an intelligence analyst within the GIC, and Gilbert was a senior manager of special operations for eBay’s global security team."

Those sound like high paying jobs so WTF were they doing harassing individuals they didn't like.

I closed my ebay account late last year due to ebay siding with a scammer and despite me having all evidence of payment to them.
After some weeks of two-ing and fro-ing with Paypal they sided with me as the scammer refused to contact them.
Ebay still refused to accept they had got it wrong and booted me from their forum when I complained, thankfully I never started selling.
Absolute st shower of a company.

I only use Ebay for the occasional purchase where I've used the seller before or they are a company I know of who are using Ebay as a marketer. After reader the article, I think I'll end my association.

A remarkable read.

I expect the couple they were harassing are going to be quite positive about eBay soon. Cause after the settlement they're due, they're going to own a hell o f a lot of stock in it.

Like buying from there now and again . Only recently tried to sell and found after exhaustive descriptions I couldnt find my stuff when doing a search. Tons of other similar/same products came up though.
Wondered if they were even visible to everyone thought some views did clock up.
Still couldn't find them in a search though.

Use a different browser and don't log in and see where you come up in a search.
