Died suddenly from a brain aneurysm aged only 49. Best known for Mythbusters, he was also known in the industry through his work for Industrial Light and Magic,

Heck!

That is awful. Poor guy.

Always came across as a really nice guy, and an extremely skilled engineer.

Happened to a guy I worked with, just a couple of years older. Was chatting at about 4pm, arranging to go climbing with him tomorow, came in the next morning and found out he'd died just a few hours later. Brutal.

Poor guy, a sad way to go.

Really enjoyed Mythbusters with him in it.
He was a good presenter and took the roll well.

What a shame. Grant was one of the presenters for Mythbusters who was chosen for his engineering ability and he always seemed to be very highly thought of by those around him.
