If this was terrorism, surely there would be more then one victim ?

This is most likely some kind of argument that spiralled out of control. But how would you get knifes past security at the gates?

There aren’t many places where you are searched on entry. Airports and some music venues and that’s about it.

I live up the road and used to go a couple of times a year.

On the whole it's a bit rough. Pretty dodgy crowd and not particularly nice - good rides though.

I reckon it's gang on gang stuff or similar rather than terror.

It's a great theme park...but very chav central. I doubt it'd take much for an argument for knives to come out.

Guess it shouldn't be a surprise that even a theme park where people go for a nice day out will attract scum, some of whom will carry knives.

Last time we went (few years ago now) . There was security and metal detectors on entering , does this not happen anymore ? Or I guess a knife could of been picked up from a restaurant and used .

in a lot of countries, places like this have metal detectors now.Think were getting to that point.
