Covid-19 Future Milestones
Discussion
OK so this is a bit of a rant but just yesterday my flights were cancelled and the level of "second wave" information - especially from the BBC just got to me.
Here is what I am thinking will be the next key milestones going forward:
(1) Today - Saturday 1st August - First day that Employer NIC wont be covered by government furlough. The indicator will be job loss announcements. For businesses Employer NIC and pensions can be a major part of cashflow.
(2) Tuesday 11th August - Return of Scottish schools. Will "Mammy" gloat over this or bottle it?
