I see that the former King of Spain has agreed to go into exile - presumably to avoid further embarrassing the current King and, perhaps, to avoid prosecution for corruption.

A sad and ignominious end to an impressive life and career. It seems likely that he had been corrupt both during and after his reign bit I hope that people will weigh against that the unique role he played in transitioning Spain from fascist dictatorship to democracy
