It's taken just 12 months for Boris Johnson to create a government of sleaze
"This week came word of at least £156m of taxpayers’ money wasted on 50 million face masks deemed unsuitable for the NHS. They were bought from a private equity firm through a company that had no track record of producing personal protective equipment – or indeed anything for that matter – and that had a share capital of just £100.
PBut this company, Prospermill, had a crucial asset. It was co-owned by one Andrew Mills, adviser to the government, staunch Brexiteer and cheerleader for international trade secretary, Liz Truss."

"It's the Guardian"
"They haven't broken any laws and those times they acted unlawfully don't count"
"All Governments are corrupt"
Cummings acted "with integrity"
"I'm not defending them but"
"But Corbyn"
"They're the least worst option"
"Something something lefty liberals"
"I don't care what they do just get us out the EU!!!"

And in other news a couple set up a firm making hand sanitiser, they had no experience and are now millionaires
Having no experience and starting a firm is how a significant amount of firms start.
They only difference is Prospermill had an IN to the government, anyone else wouldn't get a look in.

I had really high hopes for this lot I really did, i couldnt vote for Corbyn, who in their right minds would have?
So the alternative was to let Boris give it a shot.
I am so far unimpressed by whats been happening theyre not making a good impression and seem to be pretty inept.

No, that's complete bollucks from a typical Daily Mail reader.Having no experience and starting a firm is how a significant amount of firms start.

The hand sanitizer had a family member that owned a Gin distillery and were already making alcohol. The couple only stepped in to support because their property development business was halted due to lockdown. As a result of being connected to the distillery, they spun a brand for the alcohol gel. Distilleries across the country have been doing it.
It's the same as the regular "look at these 22 yr old home owners who did it all themselves*!"

I'm really no fan of Cummings, but I think you may need to research Mandelson a tad more. He make R.M. Nixon look straight.
Did he have a trip to a castle on his Wifes birthday, in the middle of the biggest UK lockdown known in Uk history, then lie about it on TV in a frankly ludicrous explanation? I dont think PM every crossed those lines...The Spruce Goose said:

Well, given that this is the biggest UK lockdown known in UK history, it would be hard for Peter Mandelson to cross those lines. However, some may argue that his conduct and explanation regarding the loan to buy his then home were less than perfect.
