That is awesome.

Love that it got the green light.

“So what if we strap a jet pack to a paramedic?’

Is it a paramedic who learned to jet pac, or a jet packer that learned to paramedic?

I saw it on the telly earlier, looked cool as heck!

That's brilliant.

I was just waiting for the jet to set the heather on fire.

The local paramedic learnt, the one being interviewed in the 2nd half (Andy Mawson) did the rescue flight.

Absolutely fantastic.

Is this just a proof of concept thing?

The paramedic at the end talked about how quickly they’re going to be at some accident sites like it might actually be happening?

Amazing video anyway.

"a paramedic could "fly" to a fell top in 90 seconds rather than taking 30 minutes on foot."

How long does it take to get all the kit on and be ready to go? If its longer than the 30 min walk what's the point.

Didn't look too long at the start of the video.

Oh, the paramedic is going to be at the site of an accident almost immediately at some stage, and sooner rather than later. Just not in the way he was hoping.

Looks like it's Gravity Industries

Spoke to them at the Bournemouth Air Festival back in August 2018 where they allowed people to have a good old look. They did a few flights from the main Pier to a landing platform further up the beach and it was certainly one of the highlights (even if one of their Jetpacs saw some sea water......

Technology was certainly there, just a tad more development needed
