Holy st. Quite a shock, the man's a legend. Sad news.

I heard Dave Lee Roth a while ago say he used to love it in the early days when they'd play battle of the band contests. The other bands' guitarists would look down their noses at Eddie with his home made guitar, right up until they took the stage. Then Dave would look at those same guitartists' jaws dropping when they heard him play.

Seems like only yesterday we were all open mouthed trying to work out how 'Eruption' was even possible.
