Free School Meals - Government being tight?
Discussion
They bang on about "single parents" on the whole so where are these lazy, good for nothing absent fathers and mothers as it is their child, they need to feed them rather than going for the latest phone and movie and sports channels. For sure there are parents that may struggle, couple and single parents as they are not managing money properly but if you live in a council or social house all repairs are paid for by the taxpayers so why are free school meals needed during holidays? or lockdowns for that matter?
I've worked, worked up to 80 hours a week inc my wife and we still work, we pay a mortgage and if we don't we will lose our property and everything we paid.
We did not buy our first car until we had the cash plus money saved up if it went wrong. We never pay interest on anything other than our mortgage - we want new cars new phones, hoildays but we have to prioritise. We wanted 5 kids but could only afford two so we had two kids.

Let's see all the young kids going hungry when it's not their fault.
Starve them out.
That'll teach them !

It's not to allow the children to suffer, it's understanding why someone cannot afford to feed their children. To me, feeding my children would be my top priority, nothing even compares. I'd go without a mobile phone, without a car, without shoes, without a shirt on my back to ensure my kids could eat. To me, some people are either so irresponsible that they should not have kids, or have found a way to try an eek out some more benefits.Let's see all the young kids going hungry when it's not their fault.

Holy f
k, not being able to feed you children should be the BIGGEST red flag of an unfit parent.Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
