Quite. No wonder there's so many snowflakes now, the teachers are encouraging it. All the parents want to do is bring a bit of fun to the lunch so the kid has something enjoyful. Teacher sounds a right lemon face.

I used to be given ryvita and marmite in my packed lunch, and sometimes a little box of raisins as a child. This lunch does not upset me or make me regress back to the midday disappointments that I experienced at primary school.

I can't believe someone is getting paid to summarise threads on reddit laugh

Pretty sure this isn't even a UK story (USA).

That online rag took it from the Mirror, and as someone pointed out elsewhere; no reference to location, names or anything to provide any substance. Not surprised to see it originated on reddit. hehe

So on top of being told you can't have x,y and z in a lunchbox because it might be unhealthy (isn't that the parents job to decide on a balanced diet), you now can't present it nicely or in a fun way in case it upsets other kids.

Jog the fk on.

If i ever become a parent I will put what I want in the kids lunchbox not what some school says.

I thought it would be a lunchbox with some barely clothed comic book women or something on it. But that is ridiculous. Maybe he should dress his kids in regs, just in case?

I used to sell my elaborately packed lunch to the fat kids. Probably frowned upon now by this new breed to teacher.

It's got to be US/Australia, as they refer to a 2007 Corolla, and the UK called it the Auris.

Also, that's a stock photo of a fancy lunch box contents not the real one, so for all we know it might have just had an unidentifiable piece of food it it that the other kids were gawping at (maybe a piece of exotic fruit such as an apple).

1. This isn’t even a UK story.
2. It’s nothing more than click bait.

It's not in the UK.

It may not even be true.

Pointless.

It's not in the least true.

There is NO WAY that a kid carried lunch box containing stuff carefully balanced on top of each other is going to have stuff carefully balanced on each other by lunchtime.

The horrific state of clickbait journalism. Reddit - Mirror - "Bristol Live" - Pistonheads. And probably made up in the first place.

That was a response from from a Reddit user, which doesn't provide an indication of location, but shows it's a story based on something from social media which shouldn't pass for news. Although everyone should be free to locate the Reddit threat and evaluate the merits of the initial report.

Point of order! Was still Corolla up to 2008 in UK. Auris has been dropped and we’re now back to Corolla...
