The greatest.
Cheat ever
No doubt about it, he was the most naturally gifted player I’ve ever seen in 40+ years.
Find it difficult to be too upset, a cheat, a bad sport a drug user etc. etc.
His antics on the pitch could be both miraculous, but most often he is remembered for the disgraceful behaviour of cheating, diving, getting players sent off, fighting after the whistle, (lest we forget how his tenure at Barca ended!). Drug busts, outburst, arguments with club owners and managers, sacked from most of his clubs, knocked his missus about, threatened her, FFS, people get all misty eyed at his occasional dribbling, in reality, he overall, he was a hell of a dickspalsh.

He wasn't the greatest sportsman, just the greatest footballer.
No - he wasn't. He was a cheat, a cad and a bounder who was quite good at football. I still think George Best and Pelé were both better players and, especially in Pelés case, better men (and sportsmen).I had no time for Maradonna - no matter what he did on the pitch.
