This is an odd one. If he really did it then chances are he has done it before. Also odd that he has thrown his entire career away for £10.

Also doesnt the till have a fit if you try and put something in thats not the correct weight? Not sure how he got away with it. Or didnt as the case is.

Carrots are sold loose, by weight.You tell the till your buying carrots put them on the scales, it charges you based on the weight.
It's well known that carrots are the cheapest item by weight that Tesco sell, so the best way to buy something like this.
I'm sure it's a complete coincidence that was the item they happened to scan twice in error.
