So i see when youve had the jab you get an ID Card to confirm it, and reports are that those without one will be refused to entry to certain things as shops and cinemas etc. Would this be legal to discriminate against non vaccinated people?

It's possibly to be for some international airlines and border (as they do today for yellow fever vaccinations) rather than UK services.

Yes. And the unvaccinated will have to carry a small bell, ring it and shout unclean.

Probably.

I don't see how that could possibly work.

The people quite rightly at the bottom of the priority risk as they are younger and healthy are also the ones most likely to be the users of these venues, so the venue owners will be cutting of their noses.

I don't think it'll be illegal to discriminate in these circumstances somehow.

It's not a 'protected characteristic'.

Where have you seen this?

I suggest you post it in the Covid vaccine thread.

It would be under current legislation. Not that it appears to concern many businesses who challenge people without masks, which is also illegal.

However, there is nothing to prevent government from passing a law to make it legal. With a big majority and a fully compliant opposition (ie none) im sure it would get through should they choose to do so.
