The people who own the Bristol house where the latest Banksy has appeared have pulled out of its sale.

The family told ITV News West Country they were due to exchange contracts next week, but they pulled out of the sale after the elusive street artist confirmed the work was his.

Must be very tempting for the other party to head straight to the local DIY shop for a tin of masonary paint.

Hopefully Banksy can do the buyer a favour and do a little mural on their house too?

Unless they get a certificate of authenticity from Banksy it's not going to make them any money though & he doesn't issue them just so you can make money from it.

He posts the jobs he's done on social media as proof it's him.

wksy, helping the cause of poverty in society by doing 'edgy' art of middleclass homes. I wish he would fk off, the worst of commercialised stencil factory produced 'art.' He knows one thing rinsing middle class art lovers for their money.

Says they've covered it with perspex to protect it.

I don't blame them for pulling out of the sale - there has been a material change pre-exchange - I'm sure the buyers would have pulled out if something had impacted the value the other way, too.

The whole Banksy thing has become like some sort of mythical legend - its farcial when you consider the response any other type of 'artist' would get if they did the same thing

No mate - don’t get them mixed up. Banksy does the stencil art, wksy draws big dicks on potholes that councils ignore so they’ll fix them quicker. See here: https://bit.ly/3oJZndD

Has anyone got Banksy's phone number?

I need the side of my garage painting, I'll offer to buy the paint and pay him £30 ph plus as much tea as he can drink.

......although, if you're not Banksy the local council will want it removed.

Fashion.

Did it ever make sense?

Banksy is an inciteful artist, and is in fashion....
fashions the problem, the art world is every bit as bad as a load of child fanboys blubbering on about a sportsstar or music band being the chosen one.
