Why did they have to state it has a top speed of 204 mph? It's not like it was actually doing that speed but insinuates the driver out of control at speed. Annoys the hell out of me. Journalists now seem to make everything sensational and dangerous, bordering on exaggeration to get a headline.

Heck, I have managed to aquaplane a 200mph capable car at <50mph with 32cm width tyres.
Fiat Pandas etc were hooning past me.
The car was pretty much undriveable.

To be honest I expected it to be a golf R, Every time I have been on the motorway and its been proper raining one of them always seems to fly past. To be fair they fly past no matter the weather or road I'm on.

I can understand though with the size of sports cars tyres they would be hard work in heavy rain.

When it's properly bucketing it down and I'm out in the Sag I tend to sit behind a lorry - 18 wheels clearing the water makes it much easier for me.

Anyway, poor owner.

I'm certainly not sitting directly behind it in the spray.... Far enough back to be safe, visible and still not at risk of aquaplaning.
