On a purely meta level it’s interesting for suggesting that these people quite understand the awful presentation they give, and are not an unmitigated clown show lumbering from one disaster to another quite by accident. As to why, if they are that aware, the clown show continues is another question.
Also on a side note I rather like the whole Allegra thing as a televised spokesperson from that clip. Would have been amusing and interesting instead of these god awful pressers and off the record lobby briefing.

If this get Boris out, then thanks Allegra.
This must be curtains for Johnson. Party going on in Downing St, whilst in the "Real World" the public couldn't visit dying relatives in hospital or nursing homes a year ago... Many didn't meet for family gatherings last Christmas because on the one hand, it was being responsible, and on the other avoiding being fined....

That really is taking the piss.
Something something Labour.Something something Brexit.
Something something least worst option.
Grrrr Boris.

I am sure TurboTory and co will be along to explain how they only voted Tory as the least worst option for the last 70 years and anyone who voted Labour constantly is a red rosette idiot.
You know they’re neck and neck in the polls at mid term, so effectively everything is ok. rjfp1962 said:

Could not give a shiny s
t to be honest.Think Boris knows his time is up, and also he probably can't be doing with it anymore.
He has achieved his ambition of being PM and will go down in history accordingly, but it must be a nightmare of a job that no-one in their right mind would take on for £150K/year. He isn't on the breadline, but could earn multiples of that for the rest of his life as a speaker at functions or as a writer.
Who will take over next is an interesting one. Think Rishi will keep his powder dry for another few years before making a move. Gove is odious to most of the population.
My money is on Liz Truss.

This , and I think Rishi will wait I think quite a few tories are now doubtful of winning the next election and he probably doesn’t want to risk being just leader of the opposition and a foot note in tory history like IDS etc .He has achieved his ambition of being PM and will go down in history accordingly, but it must be a nightmare of a job that no-one in their right mind would take on for £150K/year.
