Topically related to Coronavirus but could be anything.

I really thought by now we would’ve seen a breakdown in society with rioting, looting and some serious questions being asked of those in power.

It’s not happening!

Why is an opinion we may all have but I’m surprised.

What else did people think might happen that simply hasn’t?

Amazing how easy it is to control people with a bit of fear and divide and conquer.

I thought after a few months we would have to return to normal as economic reality bit and people wouldn’t stand for having their lives destroyed.

How wrong I was.

I’m trying to disengage from the media as a large percentage of it is predictions which turn out to be nonsense which were never worth getting worked up about.

There'll never be any meaningful insurrection or rebellion from this, if the government told you that you could no longer go outside at all, or you could no longer get anything delivered (including food), there'd still be a number of boot licking mad bds who'd starve themselves to death because the government said so.

It has occurred to me that these preppers - the people who spend their time building a bunker, stocking it with tins of food and learning how to drink their own piss - must be crushed to see that human beings come together and look after each other in times of crisis .

It must have be so confusing that they've dedicated so much of their lives to a fantasy.

I’m not sure the people who have lost businesses would agree with your assertion that they have been looked after

This st-fest hasn’t finished yet

Many of us still believe it was all bks and one of us is currently enjoying his 4th holiday since it started. Happy days!

I’ve certainly not said it’s all bollucks

As for going on holiday to Wuhan. 100% I would’ve and still would. I love to travel and experience new things and I’m very adventurous. I’ve had several trips cancelled because of the pandemic including my own wedding twice!

Well done you. In a couple of years when the pubs are still shut and we live with even more restrictions than we have now, we know it’s people like you who are responsible. Of course you will blame the politicians, the old, the fat, the ethnics etc etc, anyone but you, but it will be you.

Yep and don’t forget the acid rain that was going to burn our eyes out in the 80s or the failing ozone layer in the 90s.
