Myanmar coup aka "cabinet reshuffle"

The Chinese state news is apparently describing Myanmar's military coup as a cabinet reshuffle.

The UN security council was blocked by China and Russia from backing the UK's statement condemning the coup, along with India and Vietnam.
However laudable, I think the civil disobedience protestors will face an uphill struggle against the entrenched forces of the Army and police.
And I can't see neighbouring China and Thailand getting all exited about this thing called free elections becoming popular in that neck of the woods.
It does sort of put this country's problems into perspective.
