Certainly don't see how an AK47 manual is illegal in its own right. Nor something like the anarchist cookbook - many a teen downloaded it in my generation. Doesnt make you a terrorist.

Stuff like this always worries me. Clearly this dude should be prosecuted for hate speech. But a book on how to fight with knives? I've got nice old copies of Fairburns books "Shooting to live" and "Get tough" which are basically manuals on how best to shoot or stab people. Are they illegal?

I actually gave away my 70's paper copy of the anarchist cookbook a few years back.

I find it interesting that Patel has actually lowered the terror threat level recently.

If this economy continues to freefall in the way it is we will end up with thousands of disenfranchised and impoverished young men. I wonder who might target them?...

Well we could talk about what sort of lies this idiot believed in the press that motivated him to turn into a white supremacist? It's not like immigrants haven't been demonised since the year dot. Plenty on here like to join in with that demonisation.

Feel free - what makes you think it was the press that radicalised him? It doesn't seem that way from the Sky article in the OP; I can't say I really see any demonisation of Jews and Gays in the media
