Naming gritters

I didn’t know this was going on. Scottish government getting public to name all their gritters.

“ A spokesperson for the Scottish Government agency said: “The level of interest in Scotland’s gritters ‘spreads’ far and wide and only this week we had interest from Russia and America who are looking to replicate the process.”

Not just gritters either, all the local Virgin Media vans have got stupid names round here. My favourite is Van Rouge.
