JL has announced that it won't be reopening all its stores after lockdown, but they haven't said which ones.
Anyone care to take a guess?
Depends on the time you're talking about.Anyone care to take a guess?
By the end of 2022, will there be any left?

A shiny two pound coin on the Bullring, please.
Already earmarked to be culled.https://www.expressandstar.com/news/business/2020/...
I'd not be surprised to see the one in Solihull closed too.
With Burton, Topshop, et all gone and M&S due to close their reasonably big shop there soon, there will be nothing much left to draw anyone in.

Repeated across many shopping centres I feel . John Lewis was the flagship store in my town , already closed along with Debenhams which was the other big store Oxford has a nice shiny new JL and I fear that will go the same way, chatting with staff at Bristol store before this lockdown they feel they are for the chop as well

What's happening with JL online?
Was browsing garden furniture this morning and half the stuff is out of order. Is it Brexit or are they having trouble paying suppliers?
Someone was saying that none of the Dyson range is available online either. There's a stench of death around JL. I'm just surprised it's happening so quickly. Was browsing garden furniture this morning and half the stuff is out of order. Is it Brexit or are they having trouble paying suppliers?

Makes sense. These lockdowns won’t end now they’ve started.

Think the Southampton one will be safe
Think the Edinburgh one will be too given it's attached to what will be a brand new shopping/cinema/resturant centre in the city centre.Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
