I'm sure people appreciate it's a one-off (hopefully!) but not a good week for the Met when you see there's also an officer being investigated over allegations that a serving officer raped two of his female colleagues.

An organisation of that size is never going to be 100% upstanding citizens. He lied on his application. When he was caught he was dealt with. What more would you have the Met do?

The wording is “pseudo images”. Would this be adults made to look younger or cartoons etc? As for “prohibited images”, I seem to remember that acts such female ejaculation and urination (for example) were to be banned a few years ago?
Doesn’t excuse that he had joined neo-Nazi groups of course. Seems an odd choice considering his family background (Jewish heritage) and past relationships (Mauritian girlfriend). It’s not like he was just curious about the groups either, seems he was fully signed up and attended meetings.
At least he was identified and removed.
