BBC said:
A company in which Health Secretary Matt Hancock and his sister have shares has won contracts from NHS Wales, it has emerged.

NHS Wales gave the company, which specialises in the secure storage, shredding and scanning of documents, £300,000 of business this year.

Labour said it amounted to "cronyism at the heart of this government".

A government spokesman said that Mr Hancock had acted "entirely properly" and there was no conflict of interest.

In March this year, Mr Hancock declared in the MPs' register of interests that he had acquired more than 15% of the shares of a company called Topwood Ltd

But the register did not mention that his sister Emily Gilruth owned a larger portion of the shares and is a director of the firm, or that Topwood has links to the NHS - as first reported by the Guido Fawkes blog and Health Service Journal.

Nothing to see here, move along please and after all, everyone does it and don’t you know that the alternative was Corbyn?

That’s how it goes, isn’t it?

Corrupt to the core, this lot. Any other government and there’d be resignations or sackings. With this lot it’s just another thing to add to the increasingly long list of sleaze.

You only need see Hancock's rabbit caught in the headlights expression when he is asked any questions about dodgy dealings to know that he is rotten to the core.

Has he got a photo of the business premises hanging on his wall ?

To be fair a £300,000 contract is not a lot of beans and you and I may have shares in this company (as part of your pension fund) . Questions arise on when the shares were purchased and the involvement of Matt Hancock and his sister in the procurement process. Given this was NHS Wales (in a devolved administration) I doubt that this one is a sign of any corruption.

Given the Good Law Project is no longer allowed access to oversight government procurement, it is not surprising.

If I had the conflicts our esteemed elite seem to have, then it would be a brief conversation at the RICS, without biscuits.

The hoops a firm has to jump through for local and central government tenders is extensive, unless of course, you know or are related to a government minister or are Dido Harding.

Ok so we don't have shares but the point about it being a devolved administration's decision still stands.

This lot? No worse than anybody else who’s been in power, Blair seems to be doing pretty well for himself or don’t labour politicians count?

They are all like pigs around a trough.

Not just Welsh NHS contracts.

In 2019 seems the company was put on approved suppliers list for English NHS too.

MH appointed in 2018. A bit economical with the truth on declaration of members interests it seems.

Not sure if it's the angle the picture was taken at but she does appear to have hooves.

Nah, on due consideration I'm going with hooves. Clippity clop.

That's another photo coming off the home office wall then hehe

People have shares in companies and I wasn't too bothered when I heard Hancock did but his sister being a director looks whiffy.

And are we really going down the sisters looks route?

On no, this lot have taken it to a whole new level. The pandemic has been the goose that’s laid the golden egg for this lot and their donors/family/friends/persontheymetoncewhenonholidayinlanzarote

Stewie there, on his high horse. I agree though, it's unfair to horses.

I agree that slagging off the sister is out of order. Neigh-bours should be fair game, though.

To the victor, the spoils.

We vote Tory, we get Tory.

Why is this so hard to understand?
