I've just read the news on Autocar that he's died following an accident on his farm. He really transformed Ford's cars starting in the 90s, and he's definitely left his mark. RIP.

It's not a rolling news site - quite possible the journalists only work Monday - Friday..

Mk1 Ka, definitely best chassis ever. Closely followed by puma/ mk1 focus..

Judging by the Sunday posts that went up today, quite possible that's not the case.. Hopefully they do an article about him, he changed Ford Europe and gave a lot of ordinary people the ability to have a real drivers car as their sensible everyday family runabout. A real loss

Most sites will pre-load content so it can be automatically ‘released’ over the weekend to keep users engaged.
