This happened yesterday, thousands attended but it wasn’t on the BBC News yesterday evening or at all. I can’t find much in this morning’s newspapers. You have to search to find anyone reporting on this sizeable event.

Why did the media ignore it?

I only found out about it due to the “Cure worse than the disease?” thread. Looks like a few news media platforms have mentioned it, but it’s mainly to make out they’re covidiots/deniers/etc

CH4 news covered it, said a couple of dozen Covid deniers turned up.

Then dropped that story pretty quickly.

Being discussed at length in this thread.....

Even had a couple of friends who was saying I was a tin foiler for saying the MSM is running a government narrative now agree with me after seeing no news about this march. And seeing some of the tweets from BBC News presenters saying 5k people there just completely exposes the lying from the likes of the BBC.

The figures are all out there, and they contradict nearly every narrative now.

The protest was given the slightest mention on BBC News channels - and the reporting was dismissive. Protesters were referred to as covid deniers and mention was made of banners with conspiracy theory references and links to Qanon groups. (As if most of the nation would have the slightest idea what or who Qanon is).

As before I doubt most people in this country have any idea there was a significant protest yesterday.

I was on my way to Epsom (to visit an elderly relative) and a family of protesters got into my cosy First Class carriage singing "you can stick your poison vaccine up your arse”. It wasn't a bad effort TBH - decent harmonies - kinda like a anti-vaccine version of the Mamas and Papas. They also made their own train announcements .. about "some people are exempt from not-wearing masks - don't approach them - they have medical conditions",

I attended the March from 1245 to 5pm and there was very little police presence during the March and what I did see was non aggressive and stood well back.

As for numbers, difficult to tell - more than 10,000 yes

Apparently 1 million people turned up

Not too sure if that’s true but some family were there and sent pictures and it was definitely more than a few dozen

Lots more photos from Lawrence fox too, not too sure if he organised it in part?

Wouldn't the fact that most people were unaware of it make it insignificant?

Do you mean the protesters by going or the BBC & other media by failing to report it?

I don’t think there’s any “perhaps” about it, ridiculously ironic that they will dismiss MSM for propaganda yet seem desperate to be on it?
Besides, who needs MSM to find the your truth if you’ve got Twitter and YouTube hehehehehehe

Is Ruptly the main stream media?

I bet if you stopped 100 people on the street in the UK all 100 would have heard of BBC, Sky, Channel 4 etc. but maybe 10 people would know who Ruptly was let alone use it for news.

Even so, they went with the title....

LIVE: COVID sceptics gather for 'Unite for Freedom' rally in London

...which is more than a little disingenuous.

I meant the protesters but both could be questioned.

Well, a lot of people now realise that they are not a tiny minority.

These things get momentum, and for a protest many knew nothing about they seemed to have a lot of support.

Being in retail and having a pretty varied customer base, the one thing that surprised me is how many think the reactions to this virus have been ridiculous. That is not something I knew just two weeks back.

People are getting out and about, people are starting to socialise again and with that they are starting to question what the hell is actually going on. The governments are losing support from many.
