Gas explosion Lancashire
Discussion
That is one serious explosion. Terrible loss that a child has died.

Quite unusual for an attached house to be so badly damaged - usually in a mid-terrace the front and rear walls seem to get blown out, leaving the houses alongside more or less intact. Presumably the house layout and position of the ignition must have caused it to behave like that, or possibly the party walls were weaker than the front/rear walls for some reason?
