Either they had a panic attack when they got home and realised, or genuinely didn't realise that ton of bricks falling from height is actually quite risky!

I assume somebody will be in trouble for not tying the gable-end walls to the roof though... I wonder if they are all like that in that development? Apparently it was built by these guys: https://www.solum.co.uk/development/christchurch/

The lad walking past didn't really stop. He merely paused, adjusted his direction a little and carried on! laugh

Feel sorry for the homeowners and the owner of the parked Fiesta, though.

Secure the area to prevent anyone hit by further falling items.
Close the street
Notify the building owner (assuming they are not in)
Notify the car owner

Reminded me of that scene in the Blues Brothers when Carrie Fisher tried to blow up the Bros in a Chicago hotel!!
Bloke walking past was either high as a kite on recreational drugs, or just amazingly cool.

A Persimmon development in Southport had this trouble too. I believe they ended up demolishing a few new builds - that's what you get for developing marshland!

OK, but apart from that? smile I guess the Police would just phone the council.

The fall looks oddly fast - if it wasn't for the guy walking past I'd have thought the video had been sped up.

And if the water fairies had showed up they would have closed down most of Dorset and the surrounding counties 'just in case'.
