Professor of Black Studies at Birmingham Uni on interview this morning (ITV) says the Queen is the ultimate in white supremacy. Book visible in backdrop.

Black student ostensibly from another Oxford college also interviewed says they're proud to keep their portrait and thought it was about anti-monarchy sentiment - surprised it's portrayed as being about colonialism and alleged racism given what's happened under QE II.

Magdalen College not Magdelen.

Students being anti-establishment and self-righteous isn't a new thing. By the time most of them reach mid-30s and they have real problems such as paying the mortgage or trying to sort childcare they'll realise how much of a div they were when they were a student.

I get why he does it, I dont get why any news editor picks this up as a story. What are they hoping to gain by promoting all the divisive BS?
