But I was thinking off the top of my head....
If he identifies as South Korean....
What about his genetics - do they matter?
Should he be entitled to a South Korean Passport?
Can he register as BAME on surveys?
Does he have the right to claim he is a minority?
Is he eligible to be conscripted to national service in South Korea?
At what point does the desire to be identified as being X become incompatible with reality?

And apparently it's an offence to mess with the Korean flag like that too."It's punishable under Article 105 of the Korean Criminal Code. A person who damages, removes, or misuses the national flag or national emblem for the purpose of insulting the Republic of Korea shall be punished by imprisonment or imprisonment without prison labor for not more than 5 years, or for not more than 10 years. And foreigners are also subject to punishment. It can be applied to foreigners who commit crimes related to the national flag outside the territory of the Republic of Korea based on Article 5 of the Criminal Act of the Republic of Korea (foreigners' offshore offenders). If the foreigner is arrested by the Korean police after entering Korea, he can be punished according to the Korean Criminal Code."

Nutter, is that politically correct?
I don’t do that nonsense either. What makes one groups opinions more valid than anothers?Edit. I see my earlier post was removed for non conformism too.
Well let me rephrase this. It’s all crap. I am 53. I want to be 21 again. Therefore I claim my right to be 21. In reality I can’t. Crap isn’t it?

And that is my thinking. Why shouldn't this individual be afforded the trappings of being treated as a South Korean.
He has had surgery to meet his aims. ( ditto others who wish to be recognised as a different group )
What is the difference?
