Doesn't seem to have made the news over here but chatting to a Swedish friend it's a pretty big deal.

Gun violence has increased over recent years having been stable for so long.

Per 100,000 of population Sweden has a 0.40 gun homicide rate.

For comparison, the UK has 6 times the population of Sweden, but a lower, and decreasing gun homicide rate...
