They finished 44th in the first race. Doesn’t say out of how many but obviously 44+. That’s a lot of cars on track at once even for C1s. BTCC is petty crowded with about 28?
Wonder if that was a factor?

53 on the grid. Grid limit varies between 33 - 45 for Snetterton 300, but the numbers are usually different for endurance races. They had ~95 at Silverstone a couple of years ago.
