Apparently there is to be a protest at mid day today(19th) about removing all lockdowns etc - well, a bit behind the curve there but...

One of the things they are going to try to do is serve crime reports to the Police for the "crimes of the Government" during Covid. There was a 44page downloadable document on Dropbox for all the protestors to fill in, and they believe that as serving a crime report that the Police will have to act. These are the same people quoting Magna Carta section 61 and stuff about barons as exclusions against common law as a defence of lockdown rules.

I did follow some of these on Facebook out of interest in how the "alternative thinkers" operate but obviously asked too many probing questions as I got blocked...and some of these people have truly scary views and live in their own little echo chambers of dissent. If you wanted to cast a net over every anti-covid, anti-jab, anti-lockdown, anti-everything this was the place to be. They were the ones behind the anti lockdown protests and some are up in court with Piers Corbyn for arranging them, they claimed over a million at the last march(really??) and yet it hardly gets a mention in the news - which is of course what they would say with their anti mainstream media conspiracies for the "Plandemic"

So, do they have a leg to stand on with the crime reports operation?

There are some loons in every protest.

Protests were not reported widely because it doesn’t fit the media view.

Think that sums it up? smile

unfortunately, they'll still post from their phones. Our only hope is that the phone networks go down.

There is a live feed on Youtube - where is the :headshaking: emoji?

The only thing not being protested about is the colour of the sky...

Glad to hear that there are people willing to protest about the loss of our freedoms. If only more cared.

Parliament square was full. All road entry to the square was blocked off by police vans. There was a lot of anger directed towards the police for being guardians of the corrupt government we have, but the protest was largely peaceful. There were some scuffles as people attempted to march on Downing street, the police put a stop to it and pushed everyone back.

Anything reported on MSM?

Don't be daft. They don't report on things like this. It could incite others to join.

“largely peaceful” as in many areas of London are on fire, there’s been several shootings, murders, stabbings, gang rapes, arson attacks and widespread looting, or it genuinely was largely peaceful with just a handful of public order offences?

I made my way home at about 3pm. Up to then it was largely peaceful. I don't know what happened after that.

The Sun has a number of videos showing the events.
It certainly didn’t look all that peaceful to me - especially when one idiot tried to punch a policeman on his helmet.

Daily Mail has an article on it.

Very high ratio of fat people in the crowd.

One fat tattooed woman waving a multi coloured dole pole at the plod.

It was way more "largely peaceful" than when BLM marched and were "largely peaceful".

That’s what I was getting at, but it seemed to go over most peoples heads.

That depends. How many people were involved in each?
