Prem League Footballer arrested on Child Sex Offenses

Surprised there isn’t a thread on this unless I’m missing it. A premier league footballer has been arrested following an investigation into messages of a sexual nature involving a child.

It’s not being disclosed who or what team although it’s all over the internet following a club’s statement that it had suspended a player.

Was never going to stay private for long. Stoopid bloke though blowing his career though he’s at the tail end of it his career now. His reputation will be in tatters even if found innocent.

I don't think Everton helped with that statement, would have been a lot harder to track down the player considering the numbers that live around there, although I'm sure it would have still leaked to twitter really quickly.

They’re only ever as secure as to who you send them to. For all we know it could be a 15 yr old girl happily showing her friends at school before a teacher heard the rumour.

A statement from Greater Manchester Police, read: “Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on Friday 16 July 2021 on suspicion of child sex offenses. He is on police bail pending further inquiries.”

I wonder who put the millionaire bit in??
